How I Shone In Turbo Touch
I shone when I played my heart out at the 2015 Sports Fest. Sports Fest is a tournament where you play other sports like turbo touch, basketball, volley and dodge ball. It is where schools from all over Wellington come to fight for the title for the best school. I was in the turbo touch mixed team and we were there to say that we are the best team.
On the sports field in our finals me and my team were on fire. First I shone by working as a team by encouraging my team mates when I was on the bench and by showing that even if we haven't played the game before we still can win.
I also shone by learning the rules properly and using my skills to score a try at the other teams try line. I tried to use my rugby skill to help me pass the ball, to step the other team and to score a try which I could do.
I'm really proud of me and my team because it was a sport where we had to learn fast because we only had two weeks of practice. We didn't come first but we came second for which we were proud of.
